Terms of use
What we promise each other.
Short, because a restaurant doesn't have time to read twenty pages. Last updated: September 20, 2026.
The service
Bonjour Gus is online software published by Pista Studio (Québec City, Canada) for restaurants and cafés: team schedule, daily follow-up, profitability, employee files, handbook. It's offered as is, improved version after version; what changes is written in the release notes.
The account
The owner creates a location, invites their managers and hands out the team code. They are responsible for what their team enters, for the access they grant, and for keeping their employee files in accordance with the law. One account, one person: no password sharing.
The price
14-day trial, no card. Then, per location: $149.99 per month with no commitment, or $1,529.90 per year in one payment, plus taxes, in Canadian dollars, by card at Stripe. No limit on employees. The price can change with 30 days' notice by email; a yearly plan already paid keeps its price until its term. Optional add-ons go on top of the plan, per location, at the price shown in the Back Office before adding, on the same invoice, prorated, and can be removed at any time; they require the plan.
Stopping
Whenever you want, from Settings, Subscription. The monthly plan stops at the end of the paid month; the yearly plan at the end of the paid year, with no refund of the unused part. An unpaid account goes read-only, nothing is erased as long as the account isn't closed. Closing the account erases everything after 30 days; before that, you export everything.
What we promise
To do our best to keep the service available and fast, to give notice of maintenance, to encrypt sensitive data, to never sell or share your data, to answer on weekdays within the day. What we don't promise: 100% availability, the accuracy of the numbers your team enters, or the decisions made from Gus's verdicts. Gus computes; the owner decides. Our liability, in every case, is limited to the amounts paid over the last twelve months.
What we don't want to see
Using Gus for anything other than a location you operate, trying to access another restaurant's data, getting around access controls, reselling the service. In those cases, the account is closed without notice.
Governing law
The laws of Quebec and Canada. A disagreement is settled first by talking, then before the courts of the district of Québec. If one clause doesn't hold, the others stand.
